Turkey’s Antalya Province, often known as Antalya ili, is both a province and a metropolitan municipality. It is situated between the Taurus Mountains and the Mediterranean Sea on the southwest coast of Turkey. Its population is 2,688,004 (2022) and its area is 20,177 km.

Thirty percent of foreign visitors to Turkey stay in Antalya Province, which is the epicenter of the country’s tourism economy. Its eponymous capital city dethroned New York as the third most visited city worldwide in 2011 based on the quantity of foreign arrivals. The largest international sea resort in Turkey is Antalya. The regions of ancient Lycia to the west, Pamphylia to the east, and a portion of Pisidia to the north are represented by the province of Antalya. It has beaches along a 657 km (408 mi) beachfront.
